question about sync plate

i'm thinking about buying a sync plate for my system.

i have:
1) fostex vc8 ADDA
2) behringer vamp pro
3) pod pro

1) is connected with optical adat both in and out and can be either master or slave. i normally use it as slave with scope as master so i have no problem

2) and 3) have only spdif out and i can connect it digitally (spdif) only if i set them as master in the SFP control panel. that's rather annoying! :)

what if connect 2) and 3) to the sync plate via the wordclock? will they operate as slaves and will i get both the spdif outs for vamp and pro simultaneously in scope with no problems?

thanks!

yep, that's how it should work, if all of them have a bnc wordclock in, and you also purchase a masterclock/distributor. the cheapest masterclock is made by ART, i believe.

t-connectors would work, but they would also be unreliable.
