Hi,
When sitting at the PC with Scope on sometimes there is a crackle or a pop that just comes through the speakers for no apparent reason - Why is this? - Is the latency set too low in the ULLI? -
I can see this is quite important not to get this occuring and now I'm on the verge of using this system I need to know what is what etc.....

....thanks in advance

Yeah sure,
The PC is Quad Core or Core 2 Duo - EQ9550 with 3-4GB RAM on XP SP3 with Sonic Core 5 software running a Scope Pro PCI and Pulsar 2 PCI with the snake of the Pulsar 2 being used currently on unbalanced phono connectors though I do plan to use the balanced XLR's on the Scope snake at some point.
There is Behringer ADA 8000 (8in-8out mic/line preamp) and a Fostex VC8 8-in-8-out line level - There is one mic currently Sure SM58 -Midi controller and Edrirol average speakers currently being used and have unbalanced phono.
Its coming together nicely this system now and I'm starting to feel comfortable ish- with it all for a newbie amateur.....

......hope this is enough info for now, thanks....

If you find another cure, post it here so I can add it.

make sure there's only one master and that all the other digital hardware is slaved to that one master...

OK am I best having the Scope as master? - Or the Behringer ADA 8000 AD/DA mic/line? - I've tried it with both briefly and can get a mic signal into Scope.
I think its probably best to use Scope as master - so this is what I'll go with..... Does it really matter which unit is master if using ADAT?
may seem like a stupid question.....

.....gee..... has many of those.....

Ah OK so its flexible and I can choose - I'll try both properly over the coming days weeks months etc......
The signal seemed harder to control (more agressive) louder from the ADA 8000 being master from the brief try I had with it - The volume control on the Behringer unit doesn't get any signal into the dynamic microphone until it is turned right up to full whether set to master or not.
Obviously these are just initial thoughts. Thanks for the feedback anyway.......
