How is this guy making his external kit show up in the routing window?
e.g. the Korg 01RW, the TB202...

All my external kit just comes in through innocuous "Wave Source" boxes.

Look for the "External Device". I think it's under Software I/O.

Then, say your external box is connected to an analog input. Put the usual analog input into the project. Then put the "External Device" into the project. Open the editor for the External Device, set it to be analog input, and rename as your device. There's external devices for input, output, and effect (both in and out).
