Scope Pro Board with Pulsar 2

Hi there,

At long last I've hooked up the two boards Pulsar 2 and Scope Pro instead of the (Pulsar 2 and Power Sampler) this gives me more DSP!!!

The Scope Pro is on balanced inputs and as yet I don't have the necessary cabling to use the Pro board snake cable within the system so I'm using the Pulsar 2 snake cable (just for the moment) so the speakers go out of the left and right out on the Pulsar 2.

As each time there are teething problems so I thought I'd check here first - The is no volume coming out of the speakers -

Am I OK to use the Pulsar 2 modules within the project??? (instead of the Scope modules)

AND is it OK to use the left right out of the Pulsar 2 as I am doing?

Just need a pointer as it has been a while and it is the first time with the Pro board-

Thanks in advance....... :D

As long as you're using Pulsar2 outs from the Pulasr2 snake cable, and Pulsar2 hardware out module in your project, I can see no reason why you get no sound.
Might it be anything bad with the snake cable, or a master/slave issue in the Scope settings?
Can you see sound signal at mixer peak meters?

Having not a Pro board I can't figure out right now why you're not using outs from the Pro snake connected to the Pro board, though...

yes, it should all work. you've connected the two cards via an s/tdm cable, right?

no, you can't use more hardware modules than actual i/o. you'll need to use Scope modules for the pro card and Pulsar2 modules for the p2 card.

Hi,

Its taken a while to get back - I've got it working now - very daft of me sometimes -

I forgot to include the asio source module-

The audio cable from the output of the sound module was connected to the input ---- derrrrr brain  ..............

one or two items in the sequencer (Cubase and Orion) were not correct for MIDI out- But the Scope Pro and Pulsar 2 has created some sound - and there is now the system in place to use once again but it will take a while to get the most out of it all but the main challenge when hooking it all up is just to get it to work.....

Hopefully I'll be round more often from now on..... Thanks...... :D
