Motiff Hard Pan LFO

Recently had to play a Motiff at a gig and immediately went home to recreate the EPiano Hard Pan effect it used.
I went and dug up Shayne Whites Full Pan Device and Insert, attached at0ms' LFOtoMIDI patch to control the panning but cannot get the effect.
Its just like a real Fender Rhodes Satellite 88 that sounds like a Square Wave is used as it is very abrupt, not smooth like a Sine or Traingle...
This is not a left to right effect, but actually a summed signal coming from the Left, then the Right and quite abrupt w/o any ramping.
Anyone have a good idea how Modular or any similar technique can be used...?

Ankyu..

hard to say w/o having a motiff at hand. I tried an env as mod source, maybe something like this?

You called at the perfect time.
I found your old FMSineEP and incorporated the PanMod w/ a Square Wave
and Flexors' Control Smoother to take the artifact created by having a full
tilt Square Wave.
I tried your Free Envelope. FLexors' Pattern LFO, and the ADSR example you
showed, but at the end of the day the Yamaha must have a DeZip or Smoother,
and now I have the sound I was after.
Your FM Sine 2 Oscillator is the finest FM Oscillator Scope has. Actrually,
your FM Router, and all FM Oscillators are my only choices. The included EG's are
such a bonus.

The Mod IV's MVC C with a Unison setting of 2, and 16 voices just makes it sound
like a hardware instrument. Chorus always masks the sound and sounds thin like a
VSTi. The Unison stuff is great.
It's what makes Bowens synths sound so thick, and the same goes for Modular.

Thanks So Much RoyT......

I even took it a step further where 2 x Waldorfs could be added.
