Midi Preset Trick

When you load a synth -> Save an empty midi preset ( blank )
After you've assinged CC's -> Save a midi preset ( preset01 )

Now, the next time you want the synth to send out all the current
CC values you switch midi presets to -> blank -> preset01.

Battle Scenario:
1. switch to the minimax preset on your midi controller
2. push the button which will make it load blank
3. push the button which will make it load preset01
4. see all the leds jump into place
5. rotate away.

Steps 2 & 3 could probably be automated. See below.

This worked for me with BCR. I might be missing things. But
am still wondering why I didnt know about this. However
its good to know in the XITE Yuga.

Please test, confirm!

below: please someone make device which will let me
do this automagicly when I send preset change :D

Well I havent begun sending preset changes from midi controller yet. But I'll make sure to make the numbering correctly!!
thanks for the heads up :)

For my "feedback tests" I was simply clicking between several midi presets. the only way the device would send out all cc values in a preset, would be when I switched to blank before switching to the actual preset.

I hope someone with midi feedback can test this. However you can verify this behaviour with midi monitor as well.

I think I understand what you are doing.
Your first setup, default sends or stores nothing...then a MIDI Program Change loads the desired list..?
I found the way I like to do it is using the Snapshot device by SurAudioLabs as a back up.
But upon start up, I have everything loaded the way I like it. But if I do need a change, it is number 002, the second preset of the -MIDI CC's Bank.
When I place a ( -/minus ) in front of the bank, it ensures the CC Assignments load at start up. Auto indexing is important too.

This is usefull if you have limited amount of knobs/sliders (with feedback!) but you still want to be able to controll all devices in scope.

you make your plugin send out all the "knob positions/values" to your midi controller. that way when you turn a rotator, it will be
in the right spot.

I was jumping up and down when I discovered it :D
