Subject: USB and via/BX

on a via or BX based motherboard, USB will hog almost the entire PCI bus.

on a 815 based motherboard, there is something called the ICH2 hub, and therefore the USB does not travel through the PCI bus.

i highly suggest the ASUS CUSL2 if you plan on using USB, otherwise a parallel port midi interface will work better.
