I´m feeling with the US-Citizens, too.
This is a deeply black day in history!
In the german "technoforum" there was a topic set up, shortly after the incident. It signs more than 820 answers and about 7800 hits up to now. That shows how far the tragedy ranges...

Thanks for you wishes. But feel not only for the Americans but for all humanity.
This was an insane act against all humanity and we all have lost a little more faith in our ability to respect one another.
This time, America was the target. I hope we can all learn from this tragedy to reverse the trends of intolerance and hate.
Peace,
llamativo.

Yeah it´s a bad thing with this terrorism in the world, but in some case we could have seen such things to come.
Now I hope that US foreign politics changes to a peaceful.
No war under the repuplicans!

first: i feel very very sad, and my thoughts are with the victims and their families.
but second: yes, it was not that unexpected. it´s however the result of the politics of the past few american governments, expecially bush senior.
i liked what an american author said these days: "if we had an intelligent/reasonable government, it would be best to get bin laden, and let him talk, listen to what he (and other islamistic leaders) has to say. maybe then we can find a way to live together, peacefully. but we don´t have an intelligent government."
so far,
live your lives
