Syncronisation of VDAT with Logic 5.5.1: Logic´s SPP hangs.

I´m trying to sync VDAT with Logic 5.5.1. (PC version)
The routing is shown below.
When I start the VRC-S, Logic´s transport window is counting up the correct SMPTE time, but the Sequencer doesn´t start.
The bar display keeps stucking at -8.1.1.1.
VDAT runs fine.
Any ideas ?
Thanks

try using the clock out and setting logic to sync to midi clock. you can send any output to multiple inputs, but inputs can only be fed by one output.....

What do you mean ?
Connect VRC-S´s clock out to Sequencer Midi Dest in ?
How can I do that ?
The software doesn´t allow this.
Thanks

use asio2 modules.the asio2 dest has a clk in.

I´ve tried that but it doesn´t work.
I guess my Logic version can´t use ASIO2 sync.
There is no setting to tell Logic to use ASIO as sync source.
I´ve also tried to use Logic as the sync master and VRC-S / VDAT as slave,
VRC-S receives all start/stop messages but it does nothing.

you don't use asio as the sync. use MIDI CLOCK.
the problem is the sync settings.
if all else fails, you can make logic the sync master and sync vdat to logic via midi clock, without using the vrc....

It is not MIDI clock what goes through that one. it is a sync signal, basically a long slow ramp, sample accurate. Slaving any audio to a MIDI clock is never recommended.
I recommend the
Clock2Click to be used with VDAT to have some nice features like precise bar count and metronome and ramp signals to syncronize flexor modulars....it gives VDAT some features that maybe make you want to hook a sequencer. Only some of them though, but worth the download of a freebie.

Thank you guys.
This forum is really quick; I like that.
Probably I need more help.
Maybe you can tell me how to setup the routing in the SFP.
Please look at the screen copies below.
Can you tell me what I should go for ?
I found that only scene2 made Logic to follow the clock, but the problem with the hanging SPP is still there. All other routings don´t work.
Thank you very much.

The problem is solved !
I have to configure 1hour MTC Offset in the VRC-S.
Logic has always 1 h offset on bar 1. (Don´t ask me why)
The Configuration in scene2 is working now.

Don´t worry.
The purpose of a forum is giving and taking.
You´ve given a lot over all these years

Today it´s my turn to give something back to the community.
Maybe my posting can help some lonely and desperate LogicPC user.
