I found no way to make it work here, I get the "cannot load ..." every time. My samples are mono, 16 bit, I tried removing the loop, tried to load samples that come with scope, to no avail...

Any known workaround?

not working either, nor loading from a sample pool in the modular...

It was an Akai sample player for modular that came in 1 & 4-part versions which load whole Akai programs. I think it was removed from the devices forum, but you might be able to track down a copy.

Ok I found the sample player in question but I don't think it works for me because it seems to accept only midi as control signal where I need a cv pitch control...

Any other idea?

Oh well... It's a sample osc fiasco, I tried them all and couldn't load a single sample in any of them... "cannot load sample..." is all they can say...

After my attempts it crashed sfp and the computer... not good...

I've always had the same problem. Modular patches with the samples incorporated into sample queues such as the Jaded800 have never worked either. It's frustrating that clearly it works for some, and not for others, and nobody seems to know why. My work around is to pipe audio through ASIO from ableton or wherever into the audio inputs of modular

yeah this is annoying... Last time I had a problem with the mod preset bug I posted a thread asking SC to fix it and they sent me a fixed module a few hours later... I'll try it again now.

dunno if it helps, but I can use the sample Osc with no appearent problem.
Accepts files from the Windoze browser and even save the actual one with the project.
Scope 4.5, Core Duo 2.2, Win XP, 2G Ram here
