This is not a tough one.I just got a second Pulsar and need to install it,is there anything special i need to do such as set up or configuration.Or will Scope see it automatically and do the set up for me?

Second question,I have been trying to down load some free aps from Celmo and Digital Audio Soft.I can get them into my computer but then i can't open them or do anything with them to put them on a cd so i can install in my studio computer.
Any Ideas?

As long as you have a couple of STDM cables to connect the two boards together then you will just see the extra Scope (Pulsar) card as extra DSP.

depends on your first card, but generally just plug it in and connect the cards by STDM cable.
It can be a bit messy if you already have a 2nd generation card (3,6,14 DSPs) and add a 1st generation Pulsar (4 DSPs) and the BIOS finds it 'earlier' in sequence than your installed card.

regarding devices: just unpack them and put the .dev or .mdl files in one of the folders under 'YourScopeDir'\devices\
the location doesn't matter, usually you put a synth into the synth-folder, but it would work equally well in 'plugins'
there may be .dsp files in the archives, which go into 'YourScopeDir'\App\Dsp

you need to quit and restart Scope for the software to recognize the new devices

When first booting on windows after the new board has been installed (and cabled with the STDM cable), you'll be asked to install the Scope driver for this new device. Apart from that and if the boars are both genII, you won't have anything else to do.
