Not sure if I'm in the right forum, but I do use my sustain pedal with Scope !!!!!!!

I've just bought an M-Audio 88ES and find that my old trusty Yamaha sustain pedal works in the opposite direction (typical)

Having taken the cover off the bottom, it seems to me that I could unsolder 2 leads and solder them back in the opposite way.

Will it work?

Oops - not like me is it to not read the manual.

My sustain pedal is now working and I'm going to crawl sheepishly off the edge of this post with a very red face.
