Devices Crash

Hi y'all
I guess my scope installation is in a bad condition somehow: It feels like its getting more and more devices every day that crash sfp.exe when dragged into the routing pane. The crashes come in two forms:
1.) Immediate crash. This is the type that for instance is caused by C4T_v0_4b.dev.
2.) The use-50%-cpu-for-about-1-minute-and-then-crash crash which I experienced with several other devices.
All of the devices in question worked in the past but are now rendered unusable. I really can't tell at what point in the past or after what action the crashes have started.
I know from searching the forum that at least on other user has experienced the same trouble. Are there even more crash-victims? Are there any hints for how to fix this problem? I mean hints apart from doing a complete reinstall of windows, sfp and anything else...
Thanks in advance
Peter
