I whant to use some free plugins (synts and effects), but to use it I need the DLL to put in the plugins folder of cubase.

If I simply add the file .dev in the XTC device folder, I can't see the new devices in VST.

How can I do?

Thanks

From creamware:

"In principle, XTC is compatible with the entire Pulsar/SCOPE plug-in library. However, the plug-ins must be modified slightly to work with Pulsar XTC. Very soon, all the plug-ins available in the CreamWare Online Shop will be available for use with XTC. Also, we are providing the third-party developers with the tools they need to make it easy for them to adapt their plug-ins for XTC."

So you have to live the stuff that came with the card for a while, I returned my XTC to the store and bought a Pulsar2 insted.

Hi,
Conversion to XTC is a not-so-easy task...The problem is If the device was not created "very clean" (in the CW way) inside, the conversion leads to bugs and incompatibilities...
It takes time to fix it all.
But be patient, you will find new devices for XTC soon !
best regards,

I don't think that the convertion is hard!
If U look in the VST plugins folder, U can see that all file .dll of XTC VSTi are 20Kb.
So, for me the plugins is not converted but simply adapted with those DLL.

At my opnion, if someone are enough able to create or modify those DLL, all VST devices could be used with XTC.

Bye

PatWest,
I appreciate your solution (take Pulsar II instead XTC).

I hope that my store accept that exchange (paying the difference obviously).

Say me good luck.
