Knotor is finished for a long time now. Time to post it as a christmas gift ;-). Presets included.

have fun!

Martin

P.S. Screenshots pleeeeze!

EDIT:

added Gu2Ba. My Frequency detection works very well for my telecaster (many settings inside...) & I think it is not working very well with other guitars.. try it out, I didn't work with it for quite some time...

Yay! A Xmas present! Woohoo!. :D Hmmm, I wonder if you know what knotor means in Swedish?

So let's face it, I have a name problem :D

It was the same with Fetta for norway (& ugh, Fetta is included in Knotor  )
"the name will generate a lot of laughs in some parts of norway, and maybe some occational blushes from women in the same areas"

I'm sorry for that, it was not intended ... b.t.w. what does it mean in swedisch :D ? (google can't help...)

Nothing as remotely offensive as Norwegian Fetta, which if you replace the e with an i has the exact same meaning in Swedish. :D Knotor means knuckles (same as Italian gnocchi, ), so I thought there would a an image of a skull and crossed bones somewhere on the interface.

*etta,...It´s the same in Swedish<..blushing..> , Knotor is ok, just means knuckles, or maybe rather bone-joints in general...

according to http://free-translation.imtranslator.net/ it's quite harmless (or fetta was the bigger fettnapf... :))
if zangsta is right, imtranslator is... um kinda worthless... :)

"If zangsta is righ..".........hmmm.....are you implaying that I don´t know the most common, very vulgar, word for the female genitals in Swedish..??? .hmmmpf.. My young man, I´ve even been to the Soho...
and Amsterdams red-light district..

"if zangsta is right" means if knotor means knuckles then the translation of imtranslator (it says "grumbles" or "murrt" in german) is rather worthless. got my point? I didn't question your knowlegde on bad bad language in any way... :D

Actually, the translation is not totally off, but the expression is to "knota"...and "knotor" is about bare bones..

Of course :-) Some things never change...
Added Gu2Ba. Frequency-detection works fine for my telecaster. I bet it's not so perfect for other instruments...

Thanks Martin, I'll try this with our fretless & some slide action asap.

forget it... no use for a bass!!! The strings are too deep. It's good for turning your guitar into a bass. Further down I didn't manage to get it working smoothly.

I'll try it anyway Martin. Maybe it'll make some cool weird noises... :D

thanks Martin, I just thought I'd check in to see who posted something for Christmas, of course it's become a tradition for us to see you post something this time of the year. You can't stop it now!
