Out of interest, is anyone here using Scope XTC and Core duo or Core quad with success?? Mine is crashing all the time especially when i use heavy automation until i leave just one core enabled. When other cores are disabled it is working. Same is with STS 5000. Crackles until i leave just one core enabled.

working fine here.. I've a QX6800 running on a DFI LanParty X38
I don't use heavy automation, and mostly use FX rather than synths...

you should download the 3.1b drivers and use them instead. search for them in the xtc section.
that solved my problems

Hm...I asked can YOU be more detailed
I for sure know what is driver and i have CD with v3.1 version. And by your "search for them in the xtc section" i searched and THERE IS NO driver on original CD under XTC. There are files but they are not driver files. That is why i asked can you be more precise. There is 1000+ files in SFP directory, and since you claim you did it i asked can you be little more precise.
Now... do you mean i should switch soundcard drivers from scope version 4.5 with soundcard drivers from scope version 3.1 ? Is this what you want to say?
Thanks for the reply but i wont download anything from that link since i have CD and i dont have problems like this guy have. I dont have any freezing or something like that. But thanks again for that.

Automations in XTC mode causes crashes in a lot of DAW's!
Tested in reaper and sonar 7.02 if u use more than 2 automation u got crash!
I've discovered that u can still use automations from inside scope (using the learn function clicking with left mouse on a knob) with no crash.
So for example u can use 2 automation from sonar and the others using the "scope learn function" with no crash.
Of course that's not a good solution, but works.

I've installed 3.1b DRIVERS and now i get no sound in xtc mode from my spdif dest module!
If a try to load the xtcproject in native mode i get the sound correctly but when i close the native mode and opening sonar 8 for xtc mode there's no sound from the s/pdif module (that goes out to my studio monitors).
Really strange...try to substitude modules and mixer but nothing to do i got no sound in xtc mode even if i can see the vu meters movin in sonar and into dynamic mixer "XTCized" (renaming it with .dev trick) and leave with GUI open so i can see it even in xtc mode...

Reinstalled 4.5 drivers and the problem is gone...
Don't use 3.1b drivers, i can not go below 13ms latency with that drivers (i got a message sayng that when i try to set the ULLY lower than 13).

It was misunderstanding probably. Anyway thanks for going through all this hassle (to experience just more errors) instead of me. Really thank you for your report. I will stay away from XTC until they fix it, if ever.
See ya!

sorry for the misunderstanding
I had the crashes in xtc mode, but since i installed the 3.1 drivers everything works fine! ( i dont use spdif though)
It still crashes, but only when i use my bcf2000, so i ditched that
I still can't believe soniccore arent doing anything about these small bugs..
well well..

Do you use it in USB mode or MIDI through your SCOPE card? I use a MCU with Reaper and XTC and it works perfectly...

I had the similar problems by using BCF2000. Using it by connecting via MIDI it made 100% CPU load. After connecting BCF2000 with USB the problem was solved: no CPU load, right performance.
Afterwards you need to connect the BCF2000 via MIDI if you want to program it. In my experience thats not possible by using USB.
Fazit: use USB for automations and using, use MIDI to program it.
Perhaps somebody knows how to program the BCF2000 via USB, would be nice...
