i think that i am very tired trying 4 years now to set my pc working and set it up with scope.

i believe that for us all, even if we love scope machines so much, even if we all have that creamware addiction, even if we have a real good time here in planetz and without noticing years pass and we all come closer as "virtual" friends, even if we see a scopes card and prefer this view from a monica belucci (sometimes ), even if if if if if.......................................................... SORRY! i think i am out.
i am soooo tired with this thing 10 hours configurations and 1 hour playing music.
i do more job on my piano and i am sure that we all do not need all this huge amount of devices.

i think that even with just 2 or 3 scopes synths we are fine, and for sure 5 years are not enough for discovering a minimax.

HARDWARE,HARDWARE,HARDWARE again and again.
and a laptop with a small firewire card would do the job.

gee, if you just used it for what it DOES do, and not for what it CAN'T do, you'd be very productive indeed. i NEVER fiddle with my rig. it ALWAYS works.

Somedays I wake up in a bad mood knowing Scope 5.0 hasn't been released. I am sure you know how relaxing it is to play the Piano. Redirect your frustration. Some of the best compositions come from such altered states of mind.

i have both pc and mac (mac book pro) and although osx is very simple (compared to windows xp) drivers and software based interfaces mean time (configure, driver updates, ...). Even a mac hardly handles too much things (firewire hd, audio interface...) so i think that software just need time, you are right. I have focused my attention on few synths, scope and samplitude. I have only few vsti and i have VSL instruments (rather than GVI and more sofistacated softawres) and both PC(with scope) and MBP (presonus lightpipe for the 32 adat) are working perfectly. I only play music now ! Many people just need few tools but good audio interface and good instruments
