Hello!

I have a 6-dsp Scope card wich i enjoy, but i run out of DSP juice to fast.
On my motherboard i dont have any more free PCI slots... So i thought,
if the DSP expansion boards only uses the PCI slot for power (because its
connected to the master scope card by an cable). Is it then possible to
do something so i can connect a expansion card to my master Scope card
and feed it with power from something else then the PCI?

The Scope system shares DSP resources across the cable, but Windows and the Scope software only know the card exists through the PCI slot. You can buy a Magma expansion chassis to get more cards in your system (of course, Scope only supports a max of 3 cards), but such things are pretty expensive. You should probably consider getting the new PCI-E Scope Xite-1 when it's released. :D

if you are financially challenged, only a new motherboard can save you....

look at the picture near the bottom. maybe the other cards just need power.

or maybe a PCI card riser.

but a new motherboard would be the best bet.
