what adat a/d/a convertor?

Has anybody any comment on using a Fostex VC8 or Alesis AI3 with pulsar? I'm looking for more I/O, and these match best my budget.

For pure sound quality, I'd take the Alesis over the Fostex, and the Luna box over the Alesis. However, it's nice the Alesis is 1/4" and rackmount.

I work with an Alesis AI-3 with Pulsar I &
Powersampler, running Luna OS 2.5.

Adat works perfectly (Pulsar set to slave and 48 KHz) in conjunction with Logic 4.7

I use the A16, but it´s really hard to get.

The Alesis does fine, I heard it in a soul-production, all the voices were recorded with it and they´re really fine.

Hi,

As you can see in my post from today I work with the VC-8, with the Pulsar slave to it.

It's working fine for me, although I know that better quality is certainly available...

I haven't had the chance to test any other devices but an ADAT recorder (with the AD conversion running through it), which gave a better soundquality (the sound from the Fostex seemed flatter then that of the ADAT...)
