Re: Dedicated to Tom
I was expecting the ambient music to lurch into some extreme metal for a whoops-a-daisy section. Oh well

Re: Dedicated to Tom
Way Cool.
Many nice areas to Bunji jump. Personally I would have one attached to my harness. An 8 footer that is.
The American River has similar footpaths but can afford re-enforced concrete w/ mesh, and those hand rails are crucial.
I wonder how many skeltons are noticable over the sides.
The pre cast stairs were most likely were the newest addition to that walkway. Those holes we were seeing were a pathetic example of masonry for sure. Pea gravel & mortar are so post " Mayan ".
Excellent video though from a brave soul no doubt.

thumbs up Immanuel - what an amazing clip
enjoyed it 2 times in a row
to be honest... the height wouldn't be a big problem, but some of the material really made me frown ...
and one should have tied shoes properly - or use such with velcro clips
of course it looks scary as hell when the dude balances over those irons, but these are 2 inches wide
you may not know that many climbers exercise their sense for balance by 'slacklining', which is much more demanding and improves your control over such situations.
Actually one gets used to height pretty fast - funny thing btw... as many others I used to have those dreams where you suddenly find yourself on a high building or whatever and you're in extreme danger of falling down... well, not anymore - I always find a couple of holds to climb out of the situation... no more falling
cheers, Tom

Amazing video... Building the walkways is some achievement in itself.
