Does someone know where to find a free utility to copy & past from Akai cd to HD?
The problem is that on my cd reader Asus and Yamaha CRW (installed on a Pantium III) when I load an Akai cd and I open the cd's icon on the desk top, I just can see an empty cd.
So I cannot copy and paste anything.
I can see the files only with Pulsar software.
I downloaded Samply Browser trial version: It works, but it's too expensive just to make a copy/paste function.

Subject: You can do this with Pulsar...

1. Just select the directories off the CDROM inside the Pulsar File Browser. You can use Shift+click and Control+click as usual.

2. Then, select "Edit, Copy."

3. Navigate to your hard disk's sample directory.

4. Select "Edit, Paste."

5. Pulsar will save the AKAI format directories you selected to your hard disk in your OS native format!
