This is torturous waiting for XITE-1 to be shipped, but I have already made many presets for WS- MKII, and Solaris.

Gigastudio 4 / Cubase 4 / and VDAT are working together very well, but need many more channels and DSP power for plug ins. That's where XITE-1 comes into play.

I have definately run out of DSP power using 3 x Scope Professionals since my synths are extremely complex.

XITE-1 will allow me to use 24 voices in Multi-Synth, with an external Studio Electronics SE-1X, and 3 x 8 voice synths, 8 in Solaris, the FB5 mixer with the added MB-4G / FP106B to have all 32 GSIF channels and various FX, and VDAT hooked up to record and master in the same project.

It will also be my live set-up, mixing and mastering w/ VDAT / Cubase 4, and playback of mp3's via the 24 bit wave module.

No longer will I need to re load projects for recording, and others for mastering. It will be a complete project, that will keep my workflow going. That alone is worth the price, not to mention the sick amount of step sequencers and synth polyphony I require.

Imagine 32 channels for GS4 and Kontackt 2 instruments, 32 channels for VDAT, 8 for Cubase 4, 24 voices of Poly for Multi-Synth w/ the new step sequencer, and 8 voices for Solaris 5.0.6 !! :o

Scope has definately evolved, and SonicCore's XITE-1 will give Pro Tools rigs a run for their money, actually passing them by since the DSP synths have no equals.

Hat's Off To The Boys For A Historical Jump In Quality & Content. :D

Indeed.

But where else can I attain this quality w/o having to have a large hardware console, or Pro Tools rig?

It will be a magnificient year.

Gigastudio 4 has such high quality instruments and even makes K2 stuff glisten. To use anything other than hardware or DSP would negate it's awesome quality.

I never thought I would record w/o my Oberheims, but w/ Solaris and Multi-Synth and the analog hardware synth inputted into it, there's no need for those beasts anymore. The Japanese collector who bought them can enjoy their unique beauty, and horrible action.

Here's how I have to program Solaris now.

No mixers, just a couple of effects.

In that way I can achieve high poly counts.

Usually only get 8 voices in a project. But I am staring to really get deep into the FM thing. So I made a really great FM Electric Piano using RDII Modules, and SpaceF's FM Oscillators.

Even with a bare project I can only get 12 voices.

But the FM Piano is to die for.

Just recorded and re-arranged an old tune by John Coltrane called Naomi.

It's a really spaced out ( no pun intended :D ) sounding EP w/ Celmo's PVD, and Optimaster.

When recording directly from Solaris into the Destination module, is a real lifesaver. Especially since I don't have a Channel Strip I like yet.

I wish I could find one w/ stereo inserts that I liked. But then I guess it wouldn't be emulating it's hardware counterpart.
