Here is a template to allow my OSS 107 plug-in control by a novation X-Station controller.

You have done a really good, complete job w/ this synth Brotha' Man.

Just a kind of training to get used to template implementation on my "new" X-station.

The OSS 107 is more obviously BCR 2000 control oriented.

Next one will probably be more X-station control oriented :)

No, the template for remote 25/49/61 and x-station 25/49/61 are not compatible as far as I know. By the way the control surface is really different .

But it should be possible to achieve a template for the remote as it can offer control for up to 60 parameters and my OSS 107 plug-in has "only" 56 parameters.

If anybody has a tool to design the templates I could have a look to it. But the best would be to have somebody owning a remote, building up the template and share it with other planetz members.

Just checked the novation remote features and downloaded the template editor.

The remote provide from what I understand a maximum of 59/61 control elemnts parameters:
31 continuous controller
- 24 control elements
- 8 encoders
- 8 pots
- 8 faders
- 5/7 more realtime control elements
- 1 joystick providing two parameter control
- 1 touchpad providing 2/4 parameters
- 1 expression pedal input
30 switches
- 3 rows of 8 switches
- 5 switches normally dedicated to sequencer control (stop/play/record/ffw/frw)
- 1 sustain switch

Amount of control elemnts needed for the OSS 107:
- 5 x 8 = 40 continuous control elements
- 2 x 8 = 16 switches control elements
So you would miss some parameters, especially continuous controllers.

So the OSS 107 templates availables so far are dedicated to:
- Berhinger BCR 2000 (the original control unit for which the plug control surface was designed)
- Berhinger BCF 2000 (not that far from the previous one)
- Novation X-station

But many other MIDI controller providing enough continuous control elements would also be OK. That is just the reason why I provided the CC mapping chart in the documentation of the plug so that anybody can build up new MIDI controller adaptation.
