I'm sure he has XTC 3.01 and Luna 2.5. I think it's the Luna 2.5 that's probably the issue here.
Do you have the cards connected via STDM cable, or just both installed into PCI slots?

Card are connected via STDM cable.
XTC 3.01 and Luna II 2.5 obviously.

Well if they are connected by an STDM cable then you will have to use them both in the same way, IE:
Both running XTC, or both running Luna. You can't do both at the same time unless you disconnect the STDM cable -- and then I'm not 100% sure it'll work but give it a try and report back...

Ok,
I had decide to use only XTC software.
But, in this way, I'm able to listen audio only with VST.
How can I do to listen audio also from other applications?
Thanks

How did you manage to use it with VST? Cause I´m not even able to do that. When the Luna software is not running, I simply don´t have any kind of drivers loaded, audio or midi. Cubase doesn´t load and crashes with the "can´t load audio engine" error statement. Can you please help?
Thanks.

I too am having problems of this nature... the luna software says it needs drivers 1.42.0 to run, and the only way to get it to run is to install the drivers from the cd. This then makes the XTC software say it can't run unless it has 1.48 drivers... I can't go back to v3.00 of the XTC, as this consistently causes cubase to crash. Not good. Kinda catch 22. You'd think they'd build in some sort of backward compatibility. However, I've sent an email to creamware support (you might want to too), so I'll keep you posted on what they say...

Meant to add to that the fact that they do have a common driver file, which seems to be the source of the problem (i.e. why updating one driver knocks the other out)

ok, what you need to do is uninstall both the XTC & Luna software, install the Luna drivers, then reinstall the Luna software. The XTC software and driver installs & updates will (once all done) update the Luna software & it will all work ok. But you still won't be able to run the Luna software at the same time as XTC. Oh, and I had to stop the new XTCpro stuff from running cos it screwed up the cubase setup.

If you upgrade to XTC 3.02, then you'll have freely routable I/O just like you have inside Luna.

3.02 is much better, but my problem persist.
I can't believe that creamware don't consider the possibility to use Cubase and wavelab alltogeter.
I whan't close Cubase any time that I need to modify an audio file (that I'm using in the song). Other think to consider is that many time, to continue opend and close Cubase, audio stop to working.
I hope better driver/software for win2000 that will be probably available in "few weeks" ("few months" is much appropriate)
I hope for Creamware that I'm wrong. All the tries to bring software working, cause me very tired, because I haven't many free time.
Help please.

They have considered this -- however with the XTC interface, it sounds like this is different. Perhaps they'll sort it out, but perhaps it's simply a limitation of running the card as a VST accelerator.
In the traditional Pulsar "realtime environment" (ie: not XTC), you can have a NUMBER of programs open with your sequencer also open, all running at the same time with outputs freely routable. I have SoundForge open all the time with Logic also open.
So it's a limitation of using the XTC interface, which perhaps will be fixed, but perhaps is something you live with when running XTC.

I've downloaded the new update, but I've actually had to disable the XTCPro bit (which installs by default) from running in order to use cubase... are any of you having this problem (or am I missing something here)?
Thanks

Be sure to set the driver to ASIO-Scope
I got an XTC + Luna2 card, routing "soundcard source" to "Luna analog out" is no problem with the Luna software
but when i try to do it with the XTC 3.02 software i just get noise and cracks, when i try to write a song to .wav
in cubase i get the same noise, whats the problem?

i'd set the driver in cubase to asio scope already.
