Not sure it would do so, but is the digital clock set correctly? Master or receiving it if slave?

I have found the error. it was a bad connection on the EX board.
I take a look on the EX board and i see a cold soldering on the connector.
l have resolder the connector on the EX board and now......NOAH is repaired.

Hello Ingo,

many many thanks for your decription of the fix of the EX board. I had exactly the same Noah failure today. I unscrewd my Noah and first removed the EX board to check whether the Noah would run ok at least in 2-Slot-Mode without the EX board. And it did. Encouraged of this and of your soldering description I heated up my dusty soldering iron and I also resoldered (just heated up) all the EX board connectors. And .... It worked... :) :) So this action saved my Noah, I like it much because of its outstanding sound. Thanks to Ingo.

what a nice thread ! I have experienced some problems and i have no sound since last week and ... i have this same message "ACK TIMEOUT" and thought it was normal. Initially i thought it was because of the ADAT but i will have a look inside... I really hope it will work. I really love my Noah EX !!!!
