I have both an NFR and a regular one for years and they work the same. Didn't have any problems transferring the keys to my account either, so I guess you can go ahead

so that means that you can get keys for every scope plugin or what(inlc. scope 4.5)?? does that inlcude 3rd party plugins as well??
or does that not work when the card gets a new owner??

it didn't come with all plugins, I had to buy the S&S pack.. I never asked if I was entitled to get all of them though. Someone mentioned that you can get them all in the purchasing forum, but that is news to me. RALF???

i think you should be fine. Email Ralf on rb(at)soniccore.com and i'm sure he'll put you straight. They usually pretty much do anything, they're quite cool.

But maybe you should give Ralf a mail, just to be sure.

ok.. to answer my own question:
this is what ralf emailed me:
Hello,
if you are not a dealer, you can get the normally productrange for the card like it was at date aof producing.
( i didnt really understand that so i asked him to explain):
.. sometimes a NFR board is full with the complete stuff ( also devices from third party ). But this is for dealers / sellers only. Not for endusers.
so i guess i have to stick with what the card comes with if i understand correctly, so no new free devices for me i guess, if i understand it right..

haha! do as moxi says if you can trick soniccore into believing you are a dealer.. otherwise I find SC's position perfectly understandable

I think claiming all the plugs on a nfr card as a standart customer is pretty cheap..we all know that sc needs money so cmon....You are not a dealer and you do not have the permission to act as one.

some guys know why:
..."EDIT"...
as you say:
HAHA
why I'm so negative and downbeat: cause you need one guy like this to be happy.
this is related to a Socrate sentence that say:
things born from their opposite
I want you fanboys, maybe.
but be sure, an other world exist, where I'm a really funny man.
so why I fight in my ridiculous way : stop to try getting all what you see, turn your feel pointing your needs, then maybe you will "catch" me.
or you.
or what you really need.
Love Knob still Missing Here. please read meaning hidden in back of the harsh words. Here is the truth.
I'm sure my comment about the next update will be positive, as the hardwired reality of my beloved boards never disappoint me.

I stand by my point..these plugs are very good if you do not have the money to buy em..tuff luck.Same with the driver update..198eus for it is nothing...And i hope ralf is shutting every attempt to get em in a lame process like this!

the keys that the card has when you buy it are what it has. any other plugins must be purchased....nfr or otherwise.
nfr cards are dealer samples which were purchased at discount. what plugins they have depends on what plugins were either purchased or came with the card, but nfr cards DO NOT necessarily have all the plugins. after a few years, they can be sold, but they get no further special attention.

I have a great NFR board w/o any trouble what so ever.
However it could generate an unrecognisable string.
Hopefully other cards would be used to generate the string requests.

you could try asking a new allkeys from Ralf Jimmy, to get rid of old sentiments

thanks Gary, at least that's what I suspected.
For sure somewhere on the road something slips through, and I hope the lucky one is me

But you can't claim a thing.
The aim of nfr is showing SFP in shops, which is in our direct interest
Btw moxi, great find,
fake generosity : envy
Tho I don't think it applies to the situation

at least, the fact that all customers/owners are not handled each time the same way make me think Ralf is an human being, not an automated code generator.
Or maybe French consumer are considered in a more gentle way, as they do fine wine for all over the world
As Moxtown is really near Bordeaux, I will surely send Nabuchodonosor bottle to SC when buying the scp 5 ...
wow, last hint: a Sauterne wine will nicely replace your morning coffee...it's candy flavor make me think...I've some real world soldering to do...

it's where your like for spaghettis cabling will lead you :
this AnalogTwinFilterWith3LFOsAndEGandVCAsAndBBDdelayWithOneTouchPresetRecallAndMore will kick your ass down...
it's a pure NFR thing by the way...maybe I will do some promotionnal dsp emulation to promote this one I won't never sell...
