Well "accurate" is a subjective thing I suppose; although you can get some great acid sounds from this CUTE little device (small size & just the controls you need), it doesn't sound all that close to my ears (having a FutureRetro 777 here to compare with). It does sound good though in it's own right & character, with a 'clinical' acid quality. (The real thing is fuzzy/warmer/smeared more, whatever you want to call it)

Still, I think the Orbitone three-oh-three may sound simliar enough to this device for most users purposes and it's free. But man, wavelength's got the GOODS when it comes to the clean, small & simple interface on this one.

These "lite" devices are not so lite on the price. I wonder if they'd sell two or three times as many it they were half the price ?

US$30 is pretty fargin cheap for a synth, my dude!

Maybe if you get paid in US$ it is.

But I'm also comparing it with, say, the Synchrotron which is US$55 and has waaaaay more features.

And then compare it again to the two FREE 303 emulations and it all becomes a bit marginal.

But hey, no big deal.

oh, and my respects to Wavelength who continue to do many great things for Pulsar !
