Rapid controller changes with Scope mixer

Here goes another question...

I'm trying to control the STM 1632 mixer with my Cubase. I set up the mixer slider to listen to velocity control messages on channel 9 and did a controller track for that purpose / channel in Cubase.

I do volume 0's and 100's with 1/32 notes at 82bpm. Something like 4-5 volume mutes per second to have a nice effect. However I see that the mixer is not keeping up at all. The mutes come and go pretty randomly. Any ideas on that?

Holy crap I just tried the ControlRoom mixer and it works perfectly! Man that sounds sharp...

So the standard mixer is not made for quick midi performance?

edit: the ControlRoom mixer makes the volume changes with a little *click* sound, search goes on.

Go for my device "PassiveFader" - I have made an update privately, which I haven't uploaded so far (the current version is maybe a bit slow for your purpose). I will do this as soon as possible, but my time is so DAMN EXTREMELY SHORT right now...

Thanks for your replys. I look forward to trying out the PassiveFader.

ControlRoom inputs and outputs work precisely with midi. The input is sharp as a knife and sounded wonderful and dynamic but it gave a noticable click every time it changed. The output worked better. Unfortunately it was not as sharp / fast but it holds and just about does the trick. But still want to try that PassiveFader.

updated passive faders to passive faders 2. I bet this is what you need. Would be nice to hear, if the new version fits your needs :)
