Hi,

The Scope Pro Z-Link card from what I've seen has 2xZ-Link connectors and 1xADAT. Does this mean that you can connect 2xA16u to these Z-link connectors? - One cable from each of the A16's to both of the Z-Link connectors on the Scope pro? - If so. this would give 40 I/O in conjunction with the 1xADAT. Hope this is the case then I can add one of these cards to my existing P2 and PS!!!

no, it's 16channels of z-link(that's 8 channels per cable) and 8 channels of adat and s/pdif and analog for 28channels of i/o total.

are you thinking of adding this to an existing card? you can use both card's i/o if that's the case...

Yes Gary I am more than thinking of having another card. I'm just waiting for the right time for me to buy one. Lots of life events has meant no music at the moment but when events are over and normality is restored there will be music and another card for my existing system.

Currently Power Sampler and Pulsar 2 cards with nine chips in total so buy adding a Scope Pro card I would have another 14 DSP's in addition to more ins and outs.

Now I know what you have said I'll probably go for the ADAT Scope Pro card with 24 ins / outs (if it is still available) on the ADAT side over 3 lots of eight. I know there is SPDIF etc...which adds to more than 24...

Currently like mentioned previously I have Power Sampler and Pulsar 2. For now lets talk Power Sampler. Some good person here said that only 8 channels audio go down 1 Z link cable. I have Power Sampler but no expansion plate - (The one with a Z-Link and ADAT connections) so that means (if my thinking is correct) that I definately need this expansion plate in order to get another Z link connector. Then I will have 2 Z link connections - One on the Power Sampler and 1 on the expansion plate. This will then be able to hook up 16 Z link channels via A16.

This has been talked about before so sorry for re-treading old ground... ...but as things stand I'm not equipped to add anything other than the Luna Box 8 in 8 out. Is my thinking correct???

In the manual it mentions connecting something from the expansion plate or Power Sampler to the power supply of the CD-ROM for using 2 A16u. I'm not in reach of my PC at the moment but does this mean that the CD-ROM would not be able to be used? - Aplogogies for not being super knowledgeable on this but I am getting there...honest!
