well this is a nice idea!
please everybody take the time to vote.
i guess very few use 96, as it halfs your dsp power. and I`m not sure but I think minimax even doesn`t work correctly at 96khz.

44.1, I voted so.
But some times I used 48 because I was requested that s.rate for the final product.. But I can't say I change it frequently...

As with Alfonso - 48 occasionally for film work.

44.1 for me. To my ears, I think 96K doesn't enhance the quality that much considering I would use more than twice the DSP use, (only 18 DSP's here) when I mix down for CD which is 44.1 anyway.
If I would mix to a final medium which is 96K, then I would consider working in 96K
edit: (unfortunately) I believe some scope devices don't work properly at 96K anyway, but I never tried it myself though.

44.1 here too.
It's worth noting that most of the SDK library modules were developed at 44.1 for (purely by default) using at 44.1. That doesn't mean that developers can't make plugs for 48kHz use or even in some cases (like delay based plugs or plugs including delays) have a switch on a device's surface for toggling the plug between 44.1 & 48kHz modes. I'm sure that's already been done by Warp, spaceF or Wolf or all 3 of them. In fact, I think certain Adern modules have that feature too.

44.1 @ 3msec.
I have heard a recording of synths using WAV Osc.'s like Celmo's Bluewave, Solaris, and even that grungy Vectron in 96k that actually sound much better due to the fact that their Oscillators are 16bit samples I believe. I use some conveted 24bit Kyma's in Solaris and Prowave that sound quite pristine due to their higher fidelity. But 44.1k sounds fine to me, especially for live performance.
Nice Thread Piddi,

no they are 8-bit tables made by Waldorf originally
and I insist that they keep their grainy sound character, I just like it that way
cheers, Tom
c'mon Jimmy - you're not a sissy either...

not everything must be mellow-yellow

The JD800's, and D50's are 16bit,..you are correctamundo again.
The Waldorf stuff sounds good @ 8bit, but some of the waves are just so " mid-fi ". Maybe 8bit is too in the middle for me.

Jimmy, there might be
a compromise...
