Channel Strips

I have inserted the SL9000 in SpaceF's FB5 mixer, and more recently into Celmo's Starfleet Keyboard Mixer.
I had to sequence a B & D track w/ some synths to experiment with it's potential.
I use it live for the EQ / Filter, and especially the gate as I can adjust the depth of the effects like reverb and delay, and clip the tails.
But I really would like to hear how the expander could be used, and the algoryhthim selection tabs.
The EQ / Filter and Gate are really surgical, but I feel there is much more to this using the algo selectors.
I also saw Celmos Channel strip the X-Machine.
Anyone using these on the master outs in the way I described?
