Check out this FAT BASTARD of a reverb.
It's the old Lexicon company richer, fatter, and more up to date.
http://www.bricasti.com/
I got a woody when I found out they used the same DSP's as Scope !!
God, I wish I could be at the AES in NYC in October.

I look at it like an Intel product.
When the sales don't hit the mark they hope for, the prices drop.
Hopefully since it's a niche market, lazy engineers who set and forget every mix w/o using MIDI to move their space in time around with steer clear of it, and we could benefit from a more down to Earth price.
That's a DAW stuffed with 3 Scope Pro's !!!
I love hardware effects, but even I see it as a no brainer.
Give me the fuckin' cards.

to correct it:
its no Lexicon.
Its a reverb build by 2 or 3 ex-lexicon engineers that also used their old company name to spread and push their new product a bit more.
I guess its a good product, but not really cheap.

I`m pretty sure it uses newer sharcs, as they are so proud about the sheer amount of reflections calculated by this unit.
mmmh, they forgot the tdm connector for our scope cards on their backpanel.

When they go down to 1200 USD, I will have to get one.
Probably 2 years from now.

Could you provide a link regarding the number of reflections?
Cheers

Well - Im only responding to reverb threads
The Bricasti is a very nice reverb, but unfortunately it only have one algorithm (but multiple early reflection patterns).

warp,
I read it somewhere in an interview or saw it on a video interview done with one of the developers.
Anyways, they didn`t say something like: we use 89587 refflections in the bathroom preset.
They stated that they recorded some real acoustic places and with the calculation power of the bricasti (amazona.de review says 6xdualcore 600mhz) they could carefully recreate a density clos to real world.
I have to search for it too ....
