I love this stuff from Mehdi. For a guitarist, he sure knows how to make a synth head happy.

This effect is awesome on Vocal samples, probably mic'd VX as well. But I have made some really great presets on ProWave tonight in preparation for next weeks gig.

If you want a really awesome sounding synth vocal pad on ProWave try this.

Take the Waldorf Pair II from the RD II Modules Series, and use it on Osc A, and Osc B. Find a vocalish wave like Male, or Chorus. Use different octaves and intervals like 0, 12 on the first Waldorf Pair, then -7, and +7 on the 2nd Waldorf Pair. Sweep the waveshapers on each w/ Cyprox or Mehdi's CC5 or CC8. I use an expression pedal, but the Mod Wheel or AfterTouch works well also. This alone sounds awesome, but add the Vocalizer and have the sweep in the formant section do opposite fader moves across the vowels. This is so psychedelic. Sweeping vocal formants sounds incredible, I could imagine real vocal tracks mixed using this idea.

To make it even prettier add PsyQ to the effects insert rack 2nd slot, tie the process amount knob to CC5 or CC8 as well.

I have get back to the DAW this is just too much fun.
