Getting Rich From Your Talents

I have had a great time learning Scope and using it in a production which put a lot of cash in my Britches. I can play my own DAW's at gigs while an automated show down the street makes me cash 24/7.

I am planning on using a hardware sequencer with several Klangboxes to make another production which I will book again here in town.

These units seem very reliable, and are dirt cheap. I will put four or five in a rack w/ a Roland MC500-MKII, and have a very portable set up w/o having to hire someone to run the DAW's which are not needed IMO. Just the meat and potatoes. Just think of the cash return as I will program and collect once again w/ no overhead.

My last project grew to a giant technological nightmare, however successful. So this would be a synthesizer Kareokee of sorts where a singer and a drummer w/ a live guitarist could play the smaller venues which pay 4000 to 5000 USD weekly. I will get 10% for programming, 10% for booking, and 10% for owning the equipment. That's w/o giving the kickback to the Entertainment director for a larger amount of weeks. They love the 5% that you give them in cash, untracable, undetected, and untaxed. No wonder the Sicilian Mafia was so successful here, they knew the value of cash money.

So even after a 35% take off the top, that leaves 900 USD per player if split equally, and I get 1500 USD !! Scope has made me so FAT I had to buy a Bowflex for excercise to fit in my truck.

I wish I could hear of some success stories in Europe, Canada, or Australia of similar productions. Who says you have to sell songs to make money in the music industry. I believe that having a hit record is a sin. Just give me more cash to buy more gear, and some occasional top shelf escort girls and I will be happy. I am enjoying having my dog walked by professionals.

I have watched this thread w/ curiosity for a year now and have come to the conclusion that Klangboxes work great, and though they have small problems, I have never heard of one crashing yet. That will work for me.

I shall find some un motivated talent here and set them free, while I rake in more needed dough 4 furure rigs.

Scope Klangboxes = Cash 4 Me !!!!

I'm not so successful, I live in the downtown of a small town and the money I've done with my gear are way lower, BUT every time I go to the studio I feel like in heaven: I feel I can do almost every idea passes thru my mind... and I do them :-) This is a really big satisfaction (also without money) IMO

No matter which way you look at it, personal enjoyment, financial success, or both. We should be grateful that we do it in any fashion. As long as your talents are being put to use.

Sure as Hell beats doing a 9 to 5,
