Hi all
just got this link

http://www.throbbing-gristle.com/gristleizer/

Has anyone an idea for a device? There are some 3rd party effects which do grungy sounds, but the Gristleizer is ... unique?

I will try and find some samples of the sound, but try the Second Annual Report by TG for it in use. Kind of messy flangy distortion, very deep sound (live anyway).

There's a reaktor module that emulates this.

Reaktor I have not used, as I do all that in Scope. I have a few VST synths and fx, and use Live and Sonar mainly.

Is the Reaktor module called a Gristleizer???

There is a collection of VST plug-ins called Throbber, Fourway, and Shapee that have settings named after the TG members.
