I´m thinking about using my labtop for my scope card.. anybody done this before?
maybe by using a pcmcia to pci converter?
or a usb to pci converter?
-will you loose too much pci bandwith?

PCI bandwidth depends on the quality of motherboard and cardbus controller in the laptop. It's never going to be as good as a good desktop machine though.
