Download missing plugins/devices?

Hi. As I have mentioned today in another thread, I recently bought a second hand scope & pulsar2 setup.
It had a bunch of plugins with it, which are listed in the allkeys file I got from creamware.
HOwever, I do not have the actual device files..
Is there any way to get them? I checked creamware's ftp site and the one I am looking for (SPL Transient Designer) is not there.

I am guessing they used to be available via the 'mypage' site, which seems to be down for the count...

Go to
ftp://ftp.creamware.de/Software/Scope_f ... okeys_OXE/
and scroll down to Transient Designer v3 (18 rows up from the bottom).

AH! I had no idea what the .oxe files were for.

Thanks so much!

You need to put the files in Scope/App/Oxe (i think - this is from memory) or create a folder called Oxe if it's not there. Put the Oxe file in the folder. When you next launch Scope it should install OK if you have the keys (you may need to re-import the allkeys file). You will then need to close and reboot Scope before you can use the Transient Designer. This is one cool plug-in, well done on getting it with your board.

you can also doubleclick an .oxe whereever it sits on your harddisk. since it is a registered (or let's say: it should be) extension with scope, an installation dialogue should pop up and after confirming it will tell you to restart scope (sometimes you have to do that more than once, as I experienced). on first load of the device you will be asked for the key, and that's the point where you can import your allkeys file.

my experience with doubleclicking .oxes is limited to windows, since I don't have a mac, btw.

should generating downloads on MyPage ever be set up to work again, you could download the personalized .oxe files that make key import obsolete...
