Great.
Have you considered the low level switch or is it already low levelled like your ecc83 device ?
Could it be at least 16 channel mixer ?
What about a phase button ?
I suppose we could run a 2448 mixer with your ecc83 as insert but it is cooler to have a ready one like your device !

I guess it is meant to push hard for obvious tube-characteristics.
Tubes have a linear operation point too, but they should alter a signal dynamically depending on input signal. It ain't all tube break-up that matters.
Looking forward to testing still. And I must say, it looks very nice!

Dear Shroomz great device again but you can use here the low setting as in your ecc83 as not to overuse the tube effect if you don't wanna too.
You can also use a bypass switch too because it is like a effect device more than a mixer !!

I always look for the ultimate tube/tape plugins...

Voidar, yes I'll expand this based on ideas I have & ideas or suggestions recieved here.
Rodos, the valves alter the signal dynamically depending on the signal they're fed. Version O.1 was running VERY hot though & mainly useful as a drum sub-mixer with a real fat sound. It's way too hot & dirty for certain sound sources. Version 0.2 will be much more subtle & clean. Also, the VU meter needles in 0.1 are NOT accurate, as they were the wrong size. That's also fixed in version 0.2.
Hubird, version 0.1 is GREAT for fattening up the SPS-1's outputs. Might be a bit much for some peoples' taste though
Musurgio, thanks again for your testing, feedback & suggestions. I think you're gonna like v0.2. I've got it sounding much much sweater now

v0.3 is available in the first post of the thread.
- updated VU needle animation.
- adjusted channel input & ouput stages as well as tube response.
- calibrated with test signals & also when being fed a whole stereo mix (various)
It sounds much much cleaner now, but still has some nice colouration & character.

Sounds great on Larry Seyers Acoustic Drums in GS3. Can't wait to test it w/ mic pre and Sennheisers.

hey, I'm still on 3.1c but I occasionally get a "out of dsp" error upon loading the device. Does that have to do with the fact tha I'm on 3.1c? I also got "out of dsp" when I loaded inserts.

Dear Shroomz your latest mixer sounds very nice subtle rounding effect !
I have some suggestions to make if you please.
1) First of all if you can make 0 detent for volume knobs as to know where true 0 volume is and some numbering would be goo too like you know -5-4-3-2-1 ,0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc...
2) Also you can use extra volume for extra effect if ever needed maybe for a guitar or bass, meaning the low/high switch maybe ?
3) You can add maybe a bypass for the tube effect on the mixer so it will be used as normal mixer for comparing ?, If that easy of course...
4) Phase button like pulsar mixers for stereo ?
5) can you use a equaliser using the same ecc83 dsp effect on that too ?
Or maybe a simple equaliser like PEQ4. I know we can use the insert but as it is only one insert and to avoid any phase problems it would be great if eq could be fixed on all channels.
6) More channels and stereo channels ??
