My newest SFP DAW ( 45 DSP's ) has added Cubase 4, and Gigastudio in it's VST version called GVI. It appears GaryB has built another stable awesome box. I am only using the E6400, as I have held the E6700 in reserve if needed. GVI really loads large Gigastudio sample libraries fast, and can hold about 60 Gigs worth of DVD's in one performance !! I now can play those awesome VSL libraries and have all of my horn sections as well, w/o having to load again.

The DAS mixer sends everything to FOH engineer, and custom monitor mixes to the Pro 10 3 ways x 5. And I still can load GVI libraries, ProWave w/ 8 voice polyphony, B2003, and Six String w/ 8 voice polyphony. This now supplements my synth DAW as it has Solaris w/ 8 voice polyphony, Pro One which layers w/ the mono analog beast SE-1x, and room for Flexor II ( when it arrives ) , plus all of my custom Giga samples and electro mechanical emulations i.e., Rhodes, D6, Wurlitzer.

DAS mixer is light w/ DSP's considering it's possibilities, and having all of those post and pre inserts for other killer plugs is a God send.

Anyone w/ hardware troubles should call GaryB. His thorough attention to details has made me some serious cash w/ these uncrashable DAW's.

My Dogs Now Hunt In Packs,

P.S. GiaViolin also a VSTi is awesome. It can do Charlie Daniels, to Jean Luc Ponti. The libraries available from Tascam and other 3rd party guys are unbelievably realistic.

Those were the samples from the Quantum Leap Brass library from Nick Phoenix I believe.
