That is awesome. I am currently looking into this w/ a KVM added also. I am taking my old reliable SFP / GS3 DAW into a more complex enviroment, and adding a few more. Matrox seems up to the job. I am imagining three rackmounted 18 " LCD's. in SKB's sitting alongside of each other. Muliplr Cubase 4 windows, multiple Scope windows, VSTi windows, there really is no end to my sickness.

http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/gxm/s ... bility.php

i suggest to check this out though.
matrox likes nvidia more as i see in order to take advantage of the full specs.

also to add some more info here, some people wait till this litle box comes out in a dvi edition. at the moment it uses vga 25pin.
i use three 19" monitors as you can see. 3840x1024. the 4th monitor comes out of the second vga out of my nvidia 7900gtx. it also worked with my previous nvidia 6800.
i must admit that there is no distortion in picture quality. this does not mean that the system will be 1000% perfect for photo analysis.
but for other like sound applications it is perfect.
i have also used dual head2go and it is the same in quality.

i also suggest to make the compatibility test within matrox site, and also read some issues in matrox forum in order to avoid mulfunctions.

it is really nice not to have to swim and finally drown among windows.
besides there are less chances for pops and crackles since you won't have to move applications often while recording.

if you search at matrox site you will see all info and details.
No. the max resolution supported is 3x 1280x1024 for th2go and 2x 1280x1024 for dh2go.
check also the matrox support forum. maybe there is some more info.

I have it and freakin' LOVE IT!!!

Both my laptop and desktop work with it just fine (both Nvidia).

Three monitors PLUS a 4th monitor or HDTV (for video) - acting as '2nd' monitor is VERY cool.

That's It !!
I'm sold on it. 3 SKB LCD's.
I am actually turning my DAW's into a huge mobile recording studio, instead of the live kick ass humble SFP / Giga DAW it once was. Oh well.

what they say about mac compatibility
http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/gxm/s ... bility.php

about the other resolutions requested (in case it was overlooked)
http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/gxm/s ... o/tmet.php

btw if they were really smart you could connct another Triple (or Dual) extender on the 2nd port of a dualhead card.... up to 6 displays... :P

cheers, Tom

astroman you made me regret that i gave to a friend of mine dualhead2go.
i had in mind just to stay with 4 screens.
i made a try putting them both at my vga cards outs in order to have 5 screens but the drivers got confused.
now after having some more experience i could have test it with more chances to succeed, since i do not use matrox drivers for triplehead2go and the same i could do for dualhead2go. to explain: xp just sees a big wide screen and thats it.
no need for further installation. the same probably will (would :( ) happen with dualhead2go put on the second vga out.
the only thing that does not work without matrox software is some settings that for some people might be usefull, like maximizing on the screen you are without exceeding the specific screen, actually i do not need it since i set windows sizes by my self.

i want my dualhead2go back
or i will buy another triplehead2go

hi all

my experience till today:

i recently bought the triplehead2go for my special needs (triplehead in
dualhead config) as i have 3x 20" 16:10 lcd's from asus. unfortunately the
asus are not as good as the dell ones from siriusbliss, but quiet ok for the
price.

BUT

I'm still trying to find the right driver for my ati radeon x300se that will
work with my th2go in dualhead modus. i use only 2 outs of the th2go
with a total resolution of 3360x1050 (2x 1680x1050) and the second out
of the ati feeds my third display. this is the only way to use these screen
resolutions afaik... so far so good, but the problem i have is that the two
lcd's connect to the th2go doesn't refresh the screen continously. so i
could place the mixer and i can't see the faders moving etc... it's a pain in
the ass, same when watching dvd, there are always random parts that
doesn't refresh. hope some new drivers from ati will fix it...

also a big minus are the analog connectors from the th2go. it's a huuuuge
difference if you connect a lcd digital or analog... you loose about 50
percent of the sharpness and brillance when connecting analog.

ok, guys, solved! the solution was not the driver but the display
arrangement. in my setup it only works fine when setting the graphic out
connected to the th2go to primary

cheers

thanks. the 6th channel is set to 99 and 7th to 101. and i wish scopes crappy mixers could give values smaller than 1. anyway....
i need 100,001 for the bass guitar channel and 99.99998 for the fm7 synth.
