well, first you have to know what 0 dB fs is, before you are entitled to ask this question...

sorry, couldn't resist - joking is now turned off
in fact there isn't much known about the details, but I think you can trust them when they say they use that gear (the physical units) in their jobs, and tuned their Scope plugins as close as possible to similiar response.
They do not claim to emulate any specific circuits or even try to make an accurate digital replacement, which is perfectly ok (imho) in this context.
Most users of such plugins can't compare them anyway (to the real thing) and I doubt a 100% accurate emulation would make much difference at all - considering what these devices are typically used for.
You only miss the brag factor of the '... I have a 99.5% identical thing for a tenth of the price...'
For your sound it will not change anything at all - it might, if you'd produce your tracks like it was done 30-50 years ago, but well... time moved on
I can't comment on the eqs, as I don't know them (and have few needs to get another one, since ISON covers more than I actually use), but DAS made in fact a very good reverb, so they can't be that bad ...
since you mention the 'rants' in your thread's title (...btw, a tacky one, so to say...) , you've probably noticed that most 'discussions' were influenced more by some strange ideas about self-conception than technical facts.
Try the devices (DAS doesn't cheat and has demos of all the stuff) and listen carefully - if they are easy to operate and sound pleasing to your ears, go for them.
Just ignore the marketing hype on the other platforms (as mentioned - most folks cannot verify it anyway) - and someone recently posted he was rather disappointed from his UAD reverb in comparison to the Scope STW Plate.
cheers, Tom
