well, considering that Fairlight fits 24 tracks plus 8 busses into the screen estate of (say) 4 Masterverbs, and the precise state of each item is visible at a single glance... I'd prefer the Fairlight anytime
it's functional, not boring

I could never use that Fairlight interface. I prefer last night's dinner to come out of me the right way.

the fairlight interface is a full feature, fully knobbed and slidered hardware console.
that graphic is for reference.

The (subjectively) poorer looking interface on the Fairlight GUI (be it just for feedback or not) is probably programmed using wxwidgets or something, which (normally) yealds poorer looking results (imo) than anything I've seen on Scope.

g'morning - you got a point there, in particular because Scope is build with wxwidgets

as far as I can tell there isn't anything ported
Plug-Ins Manager 6
PlugIns Manager brings an integrated PlugIns system to the Satellite AV. The PlugIns Manager suite runs on the external PC. PlugIns Manager delivers sonically superior plug-in signal processing running on dedicated 40-bit floating point multi-processor DSP cards.
PlugIns can be driven either from their on-screen graphical interfaces or from faders, knobs and switches on the console control surface. In either case, the PlugIns integrate fully with the DREAM project structure and storage.
PlugIns Manager is available in either a 6 DSP version or a 15 DSP version providing more than twice the horsepower. PlugIns Manager is also supplied with a family of 96 high quality, real-time effects including sophisticated reverbs, multi-tap delays, phasers, choruses, flangers, deessers, autopans and many others.
PlugIns Manager 6 also provides optional support for 3rd Party VST PlugIns. Fairlight’s on-line plug-ins forum provides an open community for the exchange of user feedback and information regarding third party plug-ins.
basically CC1 is a DSP killer technology
cheers, Tom
