Scope Project and Scope SRB

I was thinking about adding a Scope SRB (the big board) to a Scope Project (Pulsar II) board. I noticed on the Scope SRB there are 4 STDM connections versus the 2 STDM's on Pulsar. Is there a bandwidth issue at stake here? Can you attach 2 STDM cables and still get good performance or is Scope SRB a better match to the Scope Studio cards? Just curious how that works. Thanks

sure, even 1 cable will work fine. the 14dsp cards all have 4, 6 dsp cards 2.

i can only use 1 cable with a pulsar1(1 connector), a pulsar srb(4dsp and 1 connector) and a power pulsar(has 4 connectors). no problemos.

a new SRB 14 DSP comes with 2 STDM cable.

even if you run 3 x scope 14/15 dsp creamware still suggest to use only 2 cable.

as Gary noted 1 or 2 cables is all you need with any combo of card.

and remember that's better to avoid the central connector when using 2 boards. This latter is dedicated to a 3 borad-system.
