hi folks

first of all forgive my poor english...

24 track simultaneously possible? then 48 track ?

in 16bit mode 48 tracks was 969mb(4min)

then 969 / 240 = about 4.03 mb

this means just 4.03mb writing per a second

something wrong? what's your opnion?

vdat writes to your HD
so its up to your HD how many track are possible;
in vdat theory 128 tracks

for the math:
in 16 bit/44.1kHz you write ((2*44100)Bytes)*tracks per second
for 48 tracks that would be (2*44100)*48 = 4233600Bytes per second

good vibes from vienna

VDAT does consume CPU-power. Your track-count will very likely be limmited by your CPU (with a slower CPU anyway).
