Total Amount Of DSP Cards Is Decieving

After thorough testing of Type II cards and different combinations available to me. I have come to the conclusion that 1 x Scope Professional Type II, and 1 x Scope Project Type II is a good solid bet. To have more DSP's is a debatable topic. But I have come to the conclusion that this combo is slightly less than 2 x Pro.'s, but hardly worth the extra cash. But to use this combo in several different cheap DAW's is a more bang for a buck approach. I am fortunate to have done this as I am building more DAW's for stage use. My current set up will be DAW #1 for FOH / Monitor mixer and FX, plus some modular synths and FX. DAW #2 for synths only with one Solaris Modular 4.1,
DAW #3 for drum submixing and 2nd Solaris Modular 4.1, and DAW #4 for all extra DSP's that would be needed. I believe that this combo will be a great live recorder/multitrack, and a severely custom live gig set up. This is 18 months worth of working with this great platform. Now that 865, and 875 boards are dirt cheap this would be a wise time to build these, or even the cheaper Conroes have been very good performers with VSTi's and VST Hosts. I truly believe that I will have the best sounding live band in Nevada, period.
