Hi all,

After 2 years of doing nothing with music production I want to give it a go now.
So, I just bought me a nice little setup:

E6600 / 4 gig / Asus P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe /2x Nvidia Geforce 7950GX

I installed my XP 64 Bits OS and put my old Luna II into the slot.

And obviously had to find out that x64 isn't supported...

Anyone know of 64 bit drivers development by Creamware or a work around to to get it to work on my comp?

Peace,
Scopey

You're going to need to install 32-bit XP.

There's not much audio hardware with 64 bit drivers, certainly nothing that does what Scope does. Also, I wouldn't advise beta-testing 64-bit audio apps.

you'll need standard 32-bit XP. no Scope drivers/software for XP64.

Thanks for the quick reply

About testing: Cubase and Sonar work fine on x64. (not really beta I know).

Just wondering: will there be a big performance loss using XP 32bit instead of 64bit?

no, only if you believe sales hype.
eventually that may change. unofficially, there are 64bit drivers in the works(someone is actually working on them). we'll see how soon and if they become reality.

Yup, I'm another sales-victim
Well, seems like I'm stuck with 32bit for now.

no, it is the other way around. 64bit computing needs more computing power.
