Any great ideas on how to use SFP as a 8 buss monitor board? I actually only need 5 seperate mixes from a STM mixer to 5 different wireless in your ear solutions. If any one has any ideas I am all ears.
Thanks In Advance,

...if you only could choose more than 1 in and 1 out at a time with the controll room

oops - not what you ask for

I'm spinning too! There's got to be a way,...if any platform could do it,...SFP can.

You can build nearly any mixer you like by combining several micro-, dynamic- and STM-mixers...
Doesn´t look so good and needs perhaps a lot of dsps, but it works...

well the stdm2448 has 6 auxes and a monitor bus. will seven do? just be sure to enable the pre switch(pre fader send).
maybe one of the fine developers will make one for you....

I will be more than happy to bribe a developer 4 this. I will use 8 ADAT inputs to the mixer. But will neec five seperate stereo outputs, with the ability to attenuate any of the inputs to suit the taste of the person on the other end of the wireless in your ear device, which will be stereo.

assuming you have 8 stereo sources
mix them by a Dynamixer (if 2 inserts/channel are ok) for the audience (connected to mixer main out) - or pass on to whatever there is after your part in the chain.
connect each direct out pair to the respective input of 6 Micromixers for monitoring (1 for yourself, 5 for the rest of the band)
you can name the mixers and channels for easier memory
Instead of the Dynamixer you can use any with direct outs - I choose it for it's simplicity
in their default position the 'monitor' Micromixers mirror what's set in the 'main' Dynamixer.
amplify or attentuate with the Micromixer's sliders as required by the respective receiver.
cheers, Tom

Brotha'Man Astro,
I anxiously awaited 4 a reply from you, as you were my very first teacher here. I thank you 4 that again. As most of the group cannot sing that well, I will be needing to add alot of FX and such. I am hoping to use AUX's 4 FX, 4 of them actually, and then could I still use the scenario you described? It will only be playing a Pro-12 w/6 voice polyphony, and everything else can go towards the Mixer scenario we are discussing. It will have 3
x 6 DSP Project cards w/ 2 of them being the Classic series. If need be, I can cover the Pro-12 with the Yamaha TX816, it is ancient but has very punchy synth brass, and awesome EP's. I really want to use my 1st SFP DAW 4 this, as I believe I might be signing on to a possible money maker here. But I get to use my 3 x 15 DSP DAW. No way these hussies are gonna get that DASW, no matter how much quacking they do!!
Thanks In Advance,
