When upgrading a Project card to 4.5, do the installed bundles automatically get updated with the additional free plug-ins or is it something Creamware does manually? Is there anyone here with a Project card & both bundles? If so, did both bundles get upgraded or just the original one your card came with?

btw, out of curiosity, have most the users here done the upgrade?

Nope - I just took the plugins I wanted out of 4.5 and placed them in the appropriate SFP4 folders and all is fine. I'll probably install 4.5 from scratch when I feel the need to install my whole system afresh but afaik the upgrade adds nothing else (no updated drivers etc) so I didn't see the need.

imho, there are some fixed bugs. Ia had some graphic strange behaviours under scope 4, they totally desappear under 4.5. Many have upgraded to 4.5 because if ou do not have B2003 and some of the goodees (mix n master or synth n sampler), it is worth it. Remmeber you will get a FREE additional plug in (minimax, dynatube, sixtring, prodyssey, ... are excellent !). Sooooo, 200 euros (price of one sole plugin) is definitly a good price for those who do not have the goodees...

As for me, i now have many good synth and excellent mixing tools with my scope. Jsut need 2 vsti and that'a all !

After purchasing the upgrade AFAIK it's still currently necessary to email Ralf the transaction details along with the Project card's ID no' for him to process & generate the card's new reg' key details. You should request a new 'allkeys' file, which the user then needs to install manually in the normal manner (although as mentioned by someone else, the additional plugs can be installed separately if keeping a Scope 4 install)

Yeh, we've got a project card with both bundles on it, but I'm affraid I can't remember what the situation was (It was rather confusing at the time). The additional plugs we got were Pro-12, VDAT, B2003, SBC & I think maybe Interpole as well.

Just guessing, but I'd Imagine that most people with Project or Pro cards have upgraded at least one card since it was & still is an excellent deal.

Interesting! It sounds like you did indeed get both plug-in bundles upgraded. Anyway, thanks for all the insight, we're going to install the new plug-ins on our demo machine today.

Yep, it does look like both packs we're upgraded. I've verified that those were indeed the xtra plugs we recieved. Very happy campers
