NEW UPDATE-PACK WILL ARRIVE SOON!

The SHx is an easy to use shaper-selector and envelope-based modifier, which does not need the modular-window (but for sure the flexor registration, if you want to use Aderns modules) You can chose between the 6 brilliant Adern flexor shapers and the CW softclipper (I added it last and found the device design not optimal for the use with CW softclip, but you can get very nice sounds even with thatone.)

You have to copy files sh1-7 to this folder:

c:SfpFlexorShaper

It's important to use exact this folder. Otherwise the device won't work.

It has a similar functionality as my MOVeq but with shaper-saturation movements. This makes sooooo smooth sounds. I love it.

Martin

P.S. Use files SHxSTEREO and SHxMONO in Scope -window.

P.S. For using it with the creamware softclip (last entry in the list) for smooth shapes you might have to turn the left knob "+" to the left and the right "-" knob to the right a bit a bit. Otherwise in some cases the module will overdrive harshly.

EDIT:
UPDATE:
Fixed some small things.

Short describtion added:

EF allways means Envelope follower. In this case there opens the surface of EF.

in/ex is for internal or external EF-feeding. There is another input "sc" on the device for that. When you switch the button while using device in insert, it simply deactivates the EF.

+/- Is for sending EF-output to the + or - control-input of the shapers/filters. I made 2 control-inputs on each device, this was easy trick with the Adern modules to get control in the other moving direction... I could have done it in another way, but it was my first idea.
=> so if you have set a value with the "+" poti and send EF to the "-" poti values will decrease (moving).
=> if you send it to the + poti values will be increased (moving).

So you can dial in default values which will be modulated by the EF which leads to very nice "living" sounds. I like this musically & non static way of using parameters (as you can see in all my devices)

Thanks a lot!!!
Very useful =)
Does it works in XTC mode as insert FX? (I can't try it now...)

@stardust: Yes, I think so, but I can't promise...

In which folder (inside standard path) you want the modules? This has to be set.

@erminardi

It should work. It's concipated as insert effect too (O.K.the sidechain input disappears).
Would be interesting to know, if my devices work in XTC mode.

I don't use Scope in XTC-mode, so I can't tell for sure.

EDIT: Oh, sorry, I can't make backslashes... so it's "_". I didn't notice...

I wanna listen to sound examples!!! (sorry, I am away from my Scope for a week and, well, you know the feeling...)

Shaper & FilterX dont work for me, although I've done e'thing as it written onto the manual. The sound goes through just while th bypass is switched on. Where the .mdl files should exactly be? Is there any other reasons might exist?

Hm. I think, it must have something to do with the folder... one moment, I have to start my SCOPE-Computer...

On my drive c:
first folder is: Sfp
In this folder there are three folders for SHx and both FIx mdls:
- filterx
- filterxCW
- FlexorShaper

If I change capital letters e'things O.K. too. If I rename my building-folder in SDK it works also, so it can't be that I have a wrong link working somewhere, cause I just copied the modules to the three folders.

Remember exchanging "_" to backslash in my previous description.

Hope it helps - I'm sure it will work. Seems to work for others too.

Sorry, Martin, but this plug (and the others similar FilterX, etc.) don't works: it makes silence in output...only when I click on bypas button I can ear the incoming signal.
I've installed all files in corrispective directories (seems to be easy install) but don't works.
Do you can fix this problem?
This plug is for me a wonderful thing and I really hope that this problem can be fixed.
Thanks.

Maybe is because some people has c:SPF instead c:SFP?

Thanks atOm I now know how to write ...

So you MUST put the single mdl modules (In their folders) in this folder, no matter if Scope is inside or not:

c:Sfp

So there have to be exactly these folders:

c:SfpFilterx

c:SfpfilterxCW

c:SfpFlexorShaper

Sorry I missed the point where it would have been effective for me to put them into the standard folder. So I left it as it was. Maybe you now have to create an extra folder c:Sfp on your computer.

Tested them on my second (completely independend) SCOPE computer.
They work. Sorry for being not clear in the first descriptions. With the last post everything should be clear now.

Ok, thanks, now it works.
It was SFP versus SPF mistake... plus the fact that my scope directory is in c:audioSPF

Now, my next target is to understand what is + and - knobs (because all the flexor shaper have only one knob!), what is "EF" "in/ex" "+/-"
Maybe I'm dumb...
Actualy I'm satisfied with "+/-" enabled and the "+" knob tweaked as stereo saturator parameter.
It's right?
Can you help me about your new devices? Maybe with a JPG with quick parameter description or a device block diagram?
Thanks and sorry...

No, you're not dumb. I should work more with conventional easy to understand naming, but I make these devices mainly for myself, so I forget that often ;o) - It has to be terrible to get used to my strange device-design ;o)))))

@scope4live

;o) We do have wonderfull sex (must be in the breaks from scope ;o)) and she's gone to some scientific conferences often in the last weeks. So I have the time for SCOPE.

I'm music&art teacher and I'm lucky, to have these 6 weeks holidays... They'll end in a week and then I will have lots of other work again...

Nice, so if I let the poti "+" to zero and the EF to "+" I obtain only positive increase to saturation from zero to x, right?

If I wish use the (i.e.) tape saturator just like from Adern module, without moving features, what setting I must create? Maybe using external source without wiring any audio signal in SC input?

When "+/-" is blank the moving signal goes to +, right?
When "+/-" is orange the moving signal goes to -, right?

Sorry for these redundant questions but actually I'm away from my Scope and I can't try it.
I wish only crearly understand the philosopy of your devices
Thanks.

Your logic is 100% right.

You could also set in or outgain of the EF to 0 to deactivate EF... ah, no it's -oo, not 0 for sure.
