NEW UPDATE-PACK WILL ARRIVE SOON!

Surprise!
Finally i'm leaving tomorrow in the early morning for holiday. Here comes a nice toy for you to play. It's in beta status, no midi control, no good monitoring & in/out management, but you can make wonderful music with it also with this early beta.

Record 8 independend mono loops! + overdubbing. Every loop gets it's own length.

have fun!

Martin

EDIT:
LOOP-layMM1 released.

- all values MIDI-controllable
- Presets working
- In2All - button (now you have the choice: pushing record button for indiv. tracks, or using the long 9-state fader...
- green Out - bug removed
- influenced the sound by some mystic crystals and numerated the tracks.

EDIT:
Hoppla... there are still a few things to correct.
- Added KILL ALL
- Fixed: Now only delayed (wet) signal comes out of the single outs - you have to connect the dry output (OutR) to a mixer to be able to hear what you're playing
- Outputs are green again... I will fix it later

Thanks

An insert point for each 'track' would be spectacular... it would be fun to pitch-shift individual tracks.

I don't know if this is possible in your design, but it would be really nice to stop/start/re-sync the device with a MIDI note - MIDI clock in Scope is pretty flakey unfortunately. A MIDI note gate is used in Flexor sequencing.

Have a nice holiday

darkrezin, it's based on my looper patch. Retriggering doesn't work with delay lines. Also, any insert would do so accumulatively, so changing the level a tiny bit could result in drastic changes in the loop's sustain...

Thanks atom - that explains a lot... re-syncing would never fit into this design I guess.

Regarding an insert - is it not possible to put it outside the feedback loop (just before the outputs)?

Another option is to have a separate output for each delay line...

I'm imagining an insert slot on the input & output stages as well as one in the feedback line specifically for messing up the loop & generating unusual effects. For example, inserting a resonant filter in the feedback line could be .. ermm, interesting.

at0m, do you still have that crazy infinite patch i've send you once?
you'd think it could work with this design?
i have scope machine nicely packed for now

not sure, michu, but here's some for people who wanted to put an insert in the loop:
WL's Infiniti2 and http://www.deviceplug-ins.com/infini.htm .

Will search for it some more, Michu...

well, old neutron retron ruled for that kind of stuff, as it offered 3 insert points and very flexible feedback routing
my lady is on a film festival 200 km away, i will stalk you on efnet

Back from holiday!
Some brief comments (I have to really arrive first-it's as hot in germany as in france and I had a 10-hours-car-trip today...):

The single-outputs of the device are green ;o), sorry, I will try to change, but... who cares?

You can use the "KNOTTpack"-devices for inserting after the single outs.

I think for experimental inserting in the loop-path the Stereo Version of LOOPLAY is perfect. You can use multiple LOOPLAY-stereo instances along LOOPLAY-mm.

I hope I will find the time to put some work in this device soon. Point 1 for me is MIDI capability (I mean MIDI control for all parameters), Point 2 is multiple inputs.
Adding inserts for each LOOP-line is not really that interesting for me, because LOOPLAY-stereo (or the use of "knottpack-devices") fits well that aim, I hope ... If you really, really need it... we'll see...

Martin

P.S. I managed to build a workaround for the MIDI sync. Signalchanges are slown down, so it works, syncing this device to a sequencer! (As far as I remember - It works for sure with LOOPLAY-stereo!)

I won't add multiple inputs. It's O.K. this way, I think. Added an In2All Button, so recording with midi-automatation should be easier now.

For multiple inputs, I think I'll rather make a 1MONO-version, which can be used in multiple instances as Loop-lay STEREO.

This device is very time-consuming because of it's gigantic circuits. I'm very happy to have presets working. With the Presets I had to start from the beginning 3 times, because it's very difficult to find a mistake... puh.

See above, what has changed.
Sorry for allways beeing too fast!
